What we collect
From detailing businesses enquiring about our service: name, business name, phone number, email address, and the service areas you cover.
From members of the public who submit an enquiry through one of our campaigns: name, phone number, email address, suburb and a description of the work requested.
How we use it
Business enquiries are used to respond to you and to assess territory availability.
Customer enquiries generated through our campaigns are passed to the detailing business holding the rights to that geographic area, so they can contact you about the work you have requested. That is the purpose of the form, and it is why we collect the information.
Who we disclose it to
Customer enquiries are disclosed to the single detailing business servicing that area. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose the same enquiry to multiple businesses.
We use third-party service providers for email delivery, form handling and website hosting, who may process this information on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are retained for up to seven years to meet record-keeping obligations and to resolve any dispute about work performed. You can ask us to delete your information earlier and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including restricting access to the systems that hold it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or make a complaint about how we have handled it, by emailing info@advantagedetail.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
